What do you dislike about this product? It just works. I recently installed a spring return on my heavy wood door, but I needed it to stay open easily for the dogs. It worked great. You can install it at the top of the door to keep it open wider. The closer you move it to the hinge, the wider the door will open. You can install it on the handle for easy removal. The foam compresses at the point where it compresses the joint, slightly reducing the gap over time. Again, once compressed to a certain point, the foam will hold its shape and not change too much. All in all, you can't go wrong with this item.
