Review on 🔌 Aluminum M.2 NGFF to USB 3.1 Adapter: External Enclosure for NGFF M.2 2280 2260 2242 2230 SSD with Key B/Key B+M (Blue) by Katresa Jones

I bought a Crucial MX500 500GB 3D NAND SATA M.2 Type 2280SS Internal SSD – CT500MX500SSD4 to fill my already exhausted 256GB - Expand SSD. I first installed the MX500 in this external M.2 USB adapter and then downloaded the FREE Acronis True Image software onto my laptop from the web link provided - oddly enough this FREE software comes bundled with the MX500. Using the Clone Disk option, it took about 15 minutes to copy the contents of my 256GB SSD to the new drive. I installed and booted the MX500 on my laptop and the laptop worked as before but now I had 500GB. (actually 475 GB) total storage space. It couldn't be easier. I used this adapter for the initial transfer - it is very well made and works great. Also, I now have a great 256GB external SSD (with a new external adapter). My configuration is Dell Latitude E727016GB RAM. Updated with MX500 = 500GB SSD (Original SSD = 256GB).
