The extremely long telescopic rod is useful if you have a room with high ceilings. It's really gigantic when extended to its full length and not big at all when folded. The rod is not very strong, be careful not to apply too much bending force to it or it will break. If you are able to disassemble it, note that two small steel spring tabs will fall out of each section, which you will need to put back in order to reassemble the telescope properly. This is the second time I've bought one of these stainless steel telescopic poles and I haven't seen a better option. The first was from a different manufacturer/shape, but very similar.
