I had an empty NVME slot in my new PC that needed some love. When I saw this product I decided to buy it. Installation took 3 minutes. This would take 1 minute if I had a magnetized screwdriver as I kept dropping the very small screw that holds the SSD in place. After that I turned on the machine, formatted the drive and now I have an additional 500 GB of ultra-fast storage. I tried copying large files from my other NVME SSD and I got around 300MB/s which is pretty amazing. If you have a newer motherboard that supports NVME M.2 SSDs at this price point, there's really no reason to have empty slots. Your computer speed will increase significantly if you boot from any of them.
