I don't buy these for a specific purpose, but I got a set of 2.5x3 bags a few years ago and have just run out, so I got these. They are super handy to have around for lots of purposes- kids lost teeth, organizing contents in a first aid kit, organizing travel and camping toiletries, protecting small jewelry in a bag, saving half-used mini bags of tie-dye tint or any non-resealable powder. I will plan to get a pack any time I run low. These seem to be good quality, a little thicker than a store brand zip bag, and a very handy size for when a zip-lock would be overkill. A couple bags so far were cut a little crooked, but most seem good. I try not to use too much plastic in general, but they are reusable for a lot of general storage / organizational uses, and one pack lasts me a very long time.
