I often just threw things away because the welds fell off. I've always wanted to be able to weld. These things scare me. I'm the cook and we have new prep tables. The old ones had drawers but this one didn't so I decided to weld them on. I've spent enough on other equipment and didn't want to spend more on a few simple welds. So I finally got over my fear by talking to a few welders and watching a few videos. I decide to take one. It took a few mistakes and a lot of molten metal to get the hang of it. After playing around with scrap for a while I found this guy to be easy to work with, light weight and at 160 amps more than enough for home use. I could spend a little more than usual, but hey. I'm new to this and I've done it. That $100 investment will pay off. It's beginner-friendly, lightweight, and has good performance for small jobs.
