Review on Black Crowned Stone Lapel Pin with Hanging Chains and Pearl Chain Brooch – Knighthood by James Baker

This pin just isn't fit for a king

Okay, let's address the elephant in the room - this needle is trying too hard. A knightly black stone wearing a crown with dangling chains and a pin with a pearl necklace (sorry, had to catch my breath after all that typing) looks like he's trying to be both menacing and elegant. And to be honest, it's kind of confusing. The black stone and dangling chains create a cool bad boy vibe, while the pearl necklace balances this with a classy touch. But here's the thing - as nice as it looks, it's just not practical. The bobby pin is quite heavy and the chains kept getting tangled in my hair (I have long hair though). I think if you look a certain way this pin might suit you. Just don't wear it if you plan on doing a lot of exercise or doing something more strenuous than sipping champagne at a party. All in all I give this pin three stars. It's definitely a unique and eye-catching accessory, but it's not the most practical accessory. But seriously, can't you think of an easier name for him? How about something like... I don't know... the rebel regent's badge? Yes I like it.

Pros
  • Universal
Cons
  • A black stone can create a stark contrast with certain clothing colors, limiting its versatility as an accessory.
