Nice Android TV Box

I was struggling to find a sturdy Android set top box to replace my old set top boxes. I bought a stock box before this one and was totally disappointed, you never know what will work well. I read the reviews about this box and thought it was worth a try. I love that this set top box runs Android TV and not just the stock Android OS. The interface is very nice and easy to customize to show only what you want to see. I'm only giving 4 stars because it wasn't a perfect setup but it probably could have been. I didn't want to sign in to my Google account, I wanted to install the APK from a USB drive. It didn't come with any default apps to install what I saw, so I had to log into my Google. account to install a file manager that can install the APK. Another issue I just found is that of the two USB ports you can connect a flash drive to both and it works fine but you can only connect an external hard drive to the 3.0 port and use it as optimize internal memory you can write to it. The 2.0 port doesn't recognize a hard drive that I have plugged in, but like I said, it recognizes a smaller memory card. It might be best to use this port for mouse/keyboard/remote dongle. I haven't tried an active USB hub on port 3.0 to see if I can use 2 hard drives on that port. I bought this box mainly to watch IPTV with TiViMate and it works perfectly. The extended internal memory is used for the application's recording function, making it an excellent dash cam. The streaming was flawless and smooth. Voice search also worked flawlessly. Overall I'm completely satisfied as I have alternative solutions to several problems I've encountered. I just bought another one. I'll probably buy more of these too. Great box!
