A key benefit of this wall is that it has enough compartments for the number of cards I personally have. I think the slits in the leather should "break apart" over time, like putting 3 credit cards to a side, the fit is so tight I often had to pull out more than one card to get to the ones I needed. . But the storage space is excellent. The only thing that disappointed me a little was the thickness. I probably shouldn't have assumed it would be thin as I fill all the slots, though with credit cards. Despite being quite bulky, it's a great wallet. I really couldn't answer the durability question above, I've only used it for a month.
