It was easy to set up, but getting it up and running was a real challenge. I used the display port to connect my monitor. Every few seconds the monitor would go black, turn on again, and go black again. Obviously not a viable way to work. I had to do a lot of research only to find out that I needed to update the firmware on my dock. Solution found on the HP support forums. I'm tech savvy enough that I figured it out in about an hour or so. If that's not your thing then this product is not for you. I would really appreciate if this information was available on the product page or included in my package as instructions. I'm glad it finally worked the way it should, but it's a lot more complicated than it should have been.
