In short: This combo pack is good value for money, just buy it and enjoy your recordings. I would rate the inner sleeves 5/5. The outer sleeves are almost perfect but a bit short. They will work if you can rotate the sleeves 90 degrees counterclockwise before inserting the cover (see pictures). Inner sleeves are suitable for most situations and albums. My guess is that all inner sleeves with arrows up are made by the same manufacturer but different companies use their logo. So choose the one that gives you the best deal. The outer cases are just as polarized as the cilantro, so please keep this in mind: I prefer the plastic outer case to hang slightly over the lid slot/hole, while they aren't long enough to protect most cases - flush at best. BUT. If you paste the album art vertically, they work. The annotated photo of The Clash album best shows what I'm talking about. A little disappointing but it does the job. Again consider both layers together. But it doesn't appear on your album. Texture: 5/5 They are fairly durable and very soft. I had previously bought several ultra clear cases that looked like cellophane would crack plastic. But they feel pleasantly soft. That texture > clarity is about IMO. Size: 5/5 or 2/5 As mentioned, length is an issue as these sleeves are too short to carry the record horizontally. It's a matter of taste: if you want the cover to be horizontal to the record, that's not enough, and they don't have a lip. If you don't mind putting the sleeve on vertically and pulling it out of the outer plastic sleeve each time to get at the record, then this is perfect. I was initially disappointed with the length until I realized I can insert records vertically. A minor inconvenience when I have to pull it out of my sleeve when I want to play with it. Inner Wrap: 5/5 Some reviews mention that the rice paper is "too short" but that seems silly to me since the rice paper is stuck in the plastic anyway. The layers go like this: 1. Plastic plate plate sandwich 2. Plastic3. rice paper4. Plastic So the rice paper is on the back, but it's wrapped in plastic itself. The next logical question is: do you need rice paper with an inner plastic wrap? The only thing that really matters is that your records are encased in an inner plastic sleeve. A lot of the reviews I've read seem to argue about three components of the inner sleeve: 1) is it strong enough to slide in and out easily 2) does it seal the record without protruding through the cover 3) is it thin enough not to be too bulky, this inner shell seems to balance all three priorities. It appears that you can insert this inner sleeve into most caps in any 90 degree turn without protruding. You can store your record with the slot facing up, so your record in the sleeve is fully protected from dust. Alternatively, these inner sleeves can be moved in parallel so that the slot in the inner sleeve is aligned with the slot in the lid. I personally place the inner sleeve parallel to the cover of the record. That way, once I slip the inner sleeve into the case, it stays in place and I let gravity help me gently pull the record out without having to fiddle with the inner sleeve again.
