I have a very dry scalp initially. So dry that I shampooed my head and shoulders because it was the only product that calmed my dandruff. Did it completely dry and completely kill my hair? Yes. But I couldn't use any other shampoo because my scalp was instantly dry and flaky. I'm not kidding, you could tell from afar how dry my scalp was. Obviously something had to change or my hair would be dead forever, so I started trying different shampoos. While looking for a new shampoo I found a wonderful tea tree formula that got rid of my dandruff instantly. But of course, when I returned to my campus for school, it literally wasn't in any business. So I went to Amazon to find it or something with tea tree. After that I will never try another shampoo again. First, the smell was less than I would like. I never liked the smell of my hair afterwards. Second, it literally did nothing for my scalp. After just two washes my scalp was flaky again and itchy terribly. Luckily I found another shampoo brand I was looking for so I'm going back to it immediately as it has to be the only shampoo I can use on myself. Aside from not doing the main thing that it should. to do, it definitely doesn't kill my hair, so that's a plus. All in all, if you have an itchy or dry scalp, this is not the shampoo you need.
