What a fun styling tool and a huge improvement over the crimpers I used in the 90's! I would say that the curls resulting from this three-barreled tool are reminiscent of a hybrid ripple and a beachy wave. It's easy to use (just grab a strand and undo the clip) and creates a fun look that a traditional curling iron can't match. Even with fairly thick hair I only used low heat (2 options) and my hair came out quite well. I didn't use the highest settings, but I don't think I'll need it. It also took significantly less time than my curling iron, even with long hair. I'm looking forward to changing my appearance with this tool.
