I've read several reviews saying the towels are rough and flimsy. I think these reviewers may be too young to remember a true old-fashioned shave at the hair salon. I am 67 years old and I remember going shaving with my father and grandfather. The barber leaned back in his chair and wrapped his face in three of these steam towels, two of which were later removed and placed on the client's shoulders. The barber wiped his razor clean after each stroke. When the barber finished, the client's face was wiped with a towel. Towels must be coarse and thin for the barber to use. Yes! Good old times
