We moved into our house about 8 months ago and had the absolute worst WiFi range/signal in our house and terrible WiFi connection with all our devices. Our house was built in 1921, so the old heavy wooden doors are everywhere in the house, the second floor is the same. Original old wooden doors in all bedrooms and bathrooms. Plastering the walls throughout the house. Needless to say, I couldn't get a good WiFi connection in the room next to our router, let alone upstairs or outside. My main issue was connecting to my doorbell camera and my internal camera which I use to watch my son while he sleeps and throughout the night. After arguing for a few months about buying a Wi-Fi Booster/Range Extender, I finally gave in and WOW! I still can't believe how big this tiny device is! Setup couldn't be easier. I connected it to my back door which is literally 40 feet from my router which is at the front of the house and we have amazing Wi-Fi connection in every part of our house! My favorite part is the Wi-Fi connectivity I get from the back fence in my yard. Before I got a Wi-Fi extender, I would lose my Wi-Fi connection as soon as I walked out the back door. Not suitable when my son is sleeping and I have to work in the garden...no wifi, no camera. I kept running back and forth checking it. It has given me so much peace of mind knowing that I can go anywhere in my house and watch my son and use my doorbell cam to see who is on my doorstep too! Don't pay big bucks for another device. As a mom and someone who is very cost/billing/budget conscious this is a must and I'm sure you won't be disappointed. A quick note: My house is 1,470 square feet, and the yard area is about the same. It literally encompasses the entire property inside and out. !
