Take this and save it for an emergency. You won't regret it

I have this and a recovery pack to keep in case something happens. I have 3 rabbits that I help my daughter look after. (She is young). Well, I got sick and left my daughter to take care of me. She does a fantastic job, except she doesn't know how to check for potential problems. Our rabbit Shadow has apparently stopped eating as many of his pellets and is munching on the hay. Very different from him, because rabbits don't suffer from a loss of appetite if something is wrong. Well, when I felt better, I went back to my normal routine and found this guy on the floor, legs spread and shaking. I looked around and his poop got very small and I knew he had gastrointestinal stasis. He looked terrible. I always have emergency supplies for each of my pets. I grabbed a bag of this product and even as this poor guy gritted his teeth (that's when you know the pain is bad!) he was receptive to drinking. The head straightened up and drank it all. (I also keep pineapple juice handy for things like that). After a few doses, he went from limping to desperately trying to get up. Literally a miracle. I thought he was dead. I kept him warm all night and got ready to take him to the vet. A total of 5 hours went by and I went to check on him and he was sitting there eating hay. It's just going so well I can't tell you what a great product this is. We have just started the second step of this process and now have syringes filled with recovery product. I had to add some of this product to make it receptive to step two, but it's doing great. Keep this in your arsenal for your rabbits. You will not regret it. I will always have that handy. I have had rabbits for over 25 years and have never seen GI Stasis before but as a rabbit owner I hope you have done your research to know the signs and know that it is deadly. I've fed them Sherwood pellets all their life but recently switched to a different brand to save money. I'm going back to pellets because I don't want to experience that again. (If you look at the ingredients, the first is glucose, which gives them a boost to fight and stay alert.) It's really awesome.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Clumsy
