20 years ago I used an IDE cable, RJ45 jacks and some network cables to connect my old HAPP Controls 4 player home cabinet. I remember working for hours in my basement with a soldering iron and a serial cable displaying keyboard controls. I bought two of these sets a few weeks ago. It took me less than 2 hours to completely replace the hardware with this kit and it's a HUGE upgrade. The KE72 was great for its time but had a few glitches (doing a dalsim teleport in SF2 HF never worked) but Easy Gadget 2 is INCREDIBLE. Zero lag really means NO lag, and all buttons can be pressed at the same time with ease. The cable set matched my Happ switches perfectly and the picture included in the document made the connection easy. What took me the most time was adding some wire length to some of the wires (about 3 feet) for the couple of buttons that were at the bottom of the cabinet. I was unnecessarily concerned that the extra length would affect performance as all the buttons worked flawlessly. As a guy who started hacking keyboards in the 90's I would like to give it 6 stars. Wonderful. I was unnecessarily concerned that the extra length would affect performance as all the buttons worked flawlessly.
