I used two of these to connect old computers to TVs at my friends house. These devices work great and will automatically scale the screen resolution to fit the TV. The USB connection design for both powering the adapter and adding sound results in a much cleaner connection than other versions that have a separate audio output cable. This makes for a cleaner connection, but I've only used it on Windows, so I can't tell if the audio works on Apple or Linux. Great price, good workmanship, timely delivery - 5 stars. Kind regards,
