Bought for my 9 year old daughter who loves to sing. I preferred this to the more colorful toy karaoke machines. She loves it. The volume is sufficient, although the bass is somewhat lacking at high volumes. The microphone works well, Bluetooth connects easily and the battery seems to last quite a long time. UPDATE: After a few months the speaker battery doesn't last more than a few minutes on a charge and the microphone is often static despite new batteries in it. This is anything but impressive. Downgraded to 3 stars unless Pyle steps in and fixes the issue. UPDATE #2: The problem has gotten worse to the point where the speaker and mic are now virtually unusable. I tried three times to contact Pyle through their website. Explained the problem, asked for help finding a solution. To date I have heard nothing back. Given this experience we will not be buying any other Pyle products and advise others to look elsewhere. Very disappointed.
