Bought for my Pomeranian who sometimes gets allergic reactions/sensitivities after being outdoors. Today he was chewing on his front paw and when I looked he looked very annoyed. I put one of them in the bath (and I diluted the iodine solution a little). I waited for it to completely dissolve and put him in the bathroom for about 5 minutes, then wiped his feet. He moved toward the leg, irritated several times at first, I think only because it was so annoying before he got wet. I told him to stop and he's been fine ever since! I'm very glad I bought them and would definitely recommend them! I would suggest letting the tablet completely dissolve before inserting your dog's paw(s)!
