Super comfortable. I wanted something I could walk in, wear in and out of the water without stopping to put on my water shoes. I have worn them hiking/hiking in the mountains, walking in river beds, swimming in the sea and shopping at the mall. You have met all my requirements. * I was very disappointed when I first got them because you can't tell the straps are adjustable just by looking at them. I couldn't even put them on! However, you can customize the fit to your foot by tugging on the straps. * I have very flat feet so I was skeptical about the high arch support but it wasn't a problem. * I didn't have to break them in. how i do it with my tevas. * They are quite difficult to put on and take off, especially when wet. This means your feet won't slide in when crossing rocky terrain, but they are not suitable for situations in which you want to switch quickly.
