Review on πŸ‘• Compact Steam Press for Ironing (Includes Free Extra Cover & Foam - RRP $49.00) by Zach Flores

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent, strong, fully functional and easy to use device. Very important!

I can absolutely recommend this steam press. For the household, this is an invaluable tool. I have used a Steampress 660 for 13 years in which I probably screwed up the steam function for not using distilled water - CA is notorious for very hard water (calcium, minerals, sediment etc.). Not this time! I use it strictly according to the manufacturer's recommendations. I've already saved hours ironing. Pillowcases, my custom made bath towel sets with pretty piping, pants with perfect pleats, t-shirts and blouses, etc. Because I paid so much for the first one, I was afraid to buy a replacement... I might end up using the old one Things to iron, only without steam. Thankfully, Revane was able to provide it. It came with a new atomizer, a handy water refill tank, and TWO new extra ironing board covers! I turned the unit on right out of the box, added DISTILLED WATER, gave it ample 2-4 minutes to warm up to my desired temperature, and it works like a CHAMP! It's right next to the washing machine with a dust cover between uses, so straight out of the dryer (I take things out when they're slightly damp to save energy) I can iron straight away and go to the linen cupboards, clothes drawers and hangers! Puff. Did. Love it! Thanks Revin PS Another tip: if you want to use aerosol starch, like I did, pick up some kitchen towels in flour bags from WalMart (20 for $14). and let the bread rise. I spray starch on my ironing products and I also spray a little water, put a clean cloth flour on my clothes and start ironing. It also minimizes the accumulation of starch on the heating surface of the iron. clothing and keep hands and fingers away from the surface of the heating element to avoid burns. You can use oven mitts or cotton gloves until you master this technique.
