Strong and thick but easy to attach. During the installation process, the clips on either side would not snap, forcing me to press down to attach. Unfortunately my screen broke. $3100 laptop, fresh out of the box, now damaged. Luckily there was insurance. I advise everyone to avoid this product and buy directly from Apple. I had no trouble installing without a cracked screen. Overall this is a good product but the clips seem a bit tight to snap into place. Attention buyers.
