Padding seems very comfortable, it fits easily in the middle seat of our F-150 (another car seat on one side and a teenager on the other). Definitely recommend for anyone needing to maximize space, I could easily fit another car seat if needed. I love the fact that you buy one car seat and your newborn or your young child can use it (transitions from rear facing to forward facing to booster).It’s on the heavier side but not the heaviest I’ve used in the last 12 years.Straps come completely out for booster mode, also makes replacements easier to install if you want to use threw multiple babies.The head supports on the side work excellent, my 4 year old often sleeps in the car still and we wanted to replace his old seat because his head would always fall down or sideways. So far his head stays upright.
