I have a Lenovo X1 Carbon that I use for work. I have a Lenovo Thunderbolt Dock that works well with dual monitors, but I need a second adapter to take with me when I travel. I have an adapter that connects via a USB-C port to two identical Samsung U28E510 4k monitors connected via HDMI adapter ports. Unfortunately when both monitors are connected I get one at 4k and the other at 800x600. I tried lowering the resolution of the 1st monitor to see if that would increase the resolution of the 2nd monitor but the Settings remain greyed out. I had high hopes for this adapter, but unfortunately it doesn't work any better than plugging a single HDMI directly into my laptop. So it didn't work for me as advertised.
