All silver is solid cast aluminum and all black is plastic. Surprisingly strong and professional looking, especially for the low price. I modified it to accommodate a custom built rig but the adjustable aluminum stand was an important part of the project and is holding up well. The tote bag is good too. I've found another use for it as I don't need to keep a stand in it, but it's useful. I will buy more of these in the future.
