This is the easiest way to store herbs for future use. I've used it on mint, parsley, basil, oregano, thyme, sage and more. After collecting fresh herbs, I wash them in the specified spin dryer, separate the leaves from the stem, pack the leaves tightly into the weed box, unscrew the lid and put it in the freezer. To use the herbs, take the herb jet out of the freezer and let it thaw slightly so you can turn the knob to reveal the herbs. I use a kitchen knife to cut thin pieces of herbs. The description says you can use a grater to grind herbs, I don't recommend this method. I tried that and didn't have good results. All in all, a grass catcher is an indispensable gadget for storing fresh herbs. I currently have about 12 of these in my freezer with lots of summer herbs.
