I have the black version of this scale. Positives: 1) Ability to weigh heavier individuals up to 400 lbs. 2) Easily replaceable batteries with long life. (The scale doesn't use much power, so the battery lasts a long time.3) Accuracy. These scales are accurate compared to a doctor's log in a doctor's office. 4) Thanks to the large display, it is also easy to read for tall people. 5) Easy conversion from pounds to kilograms. 6) Despite being glass, the surface of the scale does not feel slippery even when standing on it with wet shower shoes. It would be barefoot. 7) Libra lasted 10 years! Legs cracked when weighed. It must be used on a hard floor. It doesn't work on carpet or rugs, nor does it work on any scale. After years of use, the plastic legs broke off. However, it is possible that my husband dropped the scale and the plastic legs broke. Just remember that this is Libra's only weakness. Also note that the top of this scale is made of glass and should not be mishandled. The new version of the scale has redesigned legs that look more durable. The new version of the scale had Chinese batteries which, although the battery tester showed a sufficient charge, had to be replaced immediately upon arrival with Duracell 2032 batteries, which worked perfectly.
