This product works exactly as advertised

Item arrived quickly via Prime, no wonder. The packaging is secure and true to the size of the product. Nothing was damaged in transit and all parts that should have been included were included. The fit and finish of the box is very nice. There wasn't even an ugly piece of tape holding the little latch, so I was able to get in right away. I quickly read the black and white manual and it seems complete, well written and easy to understand in plain English. Photos are clear and well used. For now I'm just testing this before making an effort to move it to its final resting place with my computer in the garage and my workstation in my home office, about 80ft of Cat6 is routed directly between the receiver and transmitter. In my test, as the pictures show, there are two boxes on my dining table connected to a 15ft coil 6. I'll update this review if anything weird happens once I've got everything set up the way I intend have. Connecting everything was easy, no more difficult than setting up a regular PC. The only thing I screwed up was which audio ports to plug the mic and headphones into. Somehow it seems to be reversed on the broadcaster, but I think it makes sense from the broadcaster's point of view. I've acted in several films. I've played some games. As far as my computer knows, there is no device at all. It just works. The sound quality seems to be ok. The video quality seems to be ok. It even sends audio over HDMI. I don't notice any odd colors, pixels, or artifacts. I'm not promoting 4k at the moment but I will soon and I'll update this review when I get that update locally. Ethernet traversal works fine. I tested it and didn't see any significant difference in speed compared to connecting my PC directly to the router. Fast.com rated it at 62 Mbps. It doesn't seem to matter which side the internet source connects to, sender or receiver, it's just a pass through. I plugged the USB stick into the USB hub on the side of the receiver and it installed as if I plugged it into my computer. Files are transferred as expected. The mouse and keyboard connected to the receiver work without delay. I haven't checked the IR in/out (that's not what I bought it for) or the RS232 ports (don't know what they are for). I bought this unit so I can keep my workspace in my home office and move my computer tower out of the office to reduce noise, heat and free up space there. As far as I can tell, this is exactly the solution I needed. I don't know what else to say about this device. It's simple, well-made, feels solid, and works without fuss. I am impressed.

Cons
