I never write reviews but was looking for a replacement hiking jacket, tried at least 6 Revain jackets and returned them for various reasons. This was the last jacket I tried and it fit so PERFECTLY it deserves a review! I took XL, could have taken L to feel fitter. The fabric is light but not cheap at all. The XL dangled a bit in my hands but wasn't baggy or uncomfortable at all. I immediately wore this jacket on a 10 mile hike through the San Gabriel Mountains in California. Jacket was fully buttoned up all day, I bungee jumped and explored 10 miles of mountains from 5am to 5pm. I had 75-80 degree weather and it kept me shaded and cool all day! The hood is roomy and I wore it for about 3 miles of hiking. It wasn't hot or heavy like a hoodie. I am AMAZED at how incredibly comfortable this jacket is! I ordered light grey.
