Works well for me: Brake Flare Tools

I've had this for a while and so far it's impressed me. It's a bit fiddly to use, but if you're careful it produces decent (but not perfect) highlights. So far I've only done double highlights with it, but it's pretty easy. To use this you will need a few other tools which are not included: - A heavy duty vise to clamp. I've tried without flare them and had a pretty horrible experience with them - A good set of metal files to bevel the pipe and clean up the end result. - A good accurate 13mm spanner or socket on it - A good pair of pliers to remove the die from the tube after it has been flared. Finished torches are a bit rough around the edges as someone else said. I used a small file to clean it up and smooth it out after flaring. The instruments themselves are stamped "Made in USA", the accessories have no country of origin. Overall, this seems like a good tool for light, casual use. I recommend building a half dozen or so test rockets before committing to anything real.
