Extra large cube storage baskets (10.5" x 10.5" x 11"), canvas storage boxes with cotton handles for closets, shelves, clothes, toys, towels (grey/ white, large x 6) Storage Baskets are packaged economically, stacked and stacked and sealed with plastic. I like that the manufacturer hasn't spent a lot of packaging that is just thrown away once opened. The canvas material on the sides of the boxes is quite stiff and strong, and the box stands on its own when you first open it up. There's some sort of reinforcement around the top edge inside the canvas, probably some kind of metal that definitely gives support. Once you start filling the box, the contents inside help keep the canvas straight and up.The rope handles on the side are handy for lifting and carrying, but I wish the rope was a bit longer for carrying the basket allow with one hand. As short as the rope loops are, if you lift it with one hand, the basket will tip over 45 degrees, spilling most of what was in my case. Carrying it with two hands isn't a problem, even when I've packed one with fairly heavy books and papers. The basket fits very well on my square shelf. I brought one of these from IKEA, sorry I could never pronounce or remember its name, but the basket fits in there and leaves plenty of room. Lately I've been focusing on cleaning and organizing some of those cluttered places around our house and these baskets have come in very handy. I managed to fill all six with storage items and they come in very handy for transporting things from one room to another.
