It's very functional but not perfect

It sits on a filing cabinet next to my desk in my office. I used to have it on my bedside table when I was working alone. What's good: - Very versatile contraption. Three 2.4A USB ports and two 120V cable plugs. The length of the cable is considerable and good enough not to go crazy. Despite some complaints in the reviews, mine has held up well. I've had it for over a year now and I use it fairly regularly. Less starry sky: - As others have said, this blue light is quite bright. I kept it locked when it was in my bedroom because of the blue glow. Tired of that, I placed it under the edge of the bed by the bedside table so that the light was aimed at the center of the bed. That helped. Like others, I thought about putting it on tape, but I managed. I wish it had a smart plug, one of those powerful/fast charge/smart plugs that come with my Google Pixel 3 or LG Velvet 5G. . Unfortunately, that's a pitiful 2.4 amps, which to be honest is normal. Not very good, but it works. When I tugged on the cord, the weight and bulk of the cord prevented it from lying flat on my table in a wedge shape. It's not "really" portable due to the thick, bulky cable. At least not portable like one of those flip-out USB ports that's twice the length of a cellphone but twice the thickness. But it has 120 volt outlets. so there is. I think it would be good for a guest room charging station (dim the blue lights, or at least draw with a marker on a piece of tape, at least dim a bit) or for a desk/workspace (some I work from home, and I have two phones (work and home), two laptops (work and home), headphones, USB speakers and also a charging pad, so I think it's good in this app. You can use this under the bed as a charger for a tablet, an extension plug, to to get closer to the bedside table where you can plug in a lamp and a tablet at night etc. to be honest it is very practical and the price is excellent it is NOT perfect but it is good product and good price but leave it it at home.It is not a travel companion.
