Review on OtterBox DEFENDER SERIES SCREENLESS EDITION Case for Samsung Galaxy S10e - BLACK by Darryl Blumenthal

Tbh I ordered this because I know Otter makes really hard cases and because it looked cool. Before that I did some research online and I find the Defender series very solid, but to be honest it's still sleek and stylish and I see it in person now. The strength is evident in the construction of this case all around the phone. The inner "frame" is made of composite plastic that wraps around your phone. The internal frame is in direct contact with the phone and is designed to collapse to dissipate energy from a hard impact if it is necessary to save your phone. This impact must be strong enough to penetrate the outer rubber sleeve, a second separate entity that is in direct contact with the skeleton. Well, while this Otterbox is unlikely to have a top-notch contingency plan, this dual-layer protection will protect you if the fall is followed by a toss and it has a very high impact. Fingerprints didn't work properly so I just went into biometric security settings and added another fingerprint. When adding fingerprints again in these settings, I did so with the case enabled. This allows the fingerprint reader to capture many fingerprints at the exact angle of the notch on the otter's body. It worked like a charm since my phone opens every time. In fact, it unlocks better than without a case because the case adjusts your finger for a perfect read every time. The clip seems a little flimsy as it only has one point of contact at the top, which is my only complaint. I have a feeling there are replacement clips for the Defender series on the internet and it's most likely due to this design flaw which I've already noticed. I see the exchange of this clip in the trial I would say 6 months. This is seriously the only negative about this product. If an Otterbox wanted they could add 2 attached contact points on top to reinforce and increase integrity. It wouldn't even cost them that much more, but because they neglected that part of the clip, it only gives 4 stars from me! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
