I love funny kitchen utensils, unfortunately many of them are not particularly functional. We have Nessie's bucket and it's too small and light to be of much use. Thankfully, that's not the case with this Nessie strainer. This is a great replacement for a skimmer. The bowl is big enough to hold a decent amount and the plastic is strong and heavy enough to stand on its own. It is easy to clean with soap and water. The holes are nice and small, perfectly sized to let liquids through but keep all solids out. I am very happy with my mum Nessie and she will float in my kitchen for many years to come.
