I actually reordered them once before figuring out what the problem was. They worked fine at first, but then the adhesive gradually dissolved, allowing the pads to slide and smearing the adhesive onto the parts of the frame next to the pad. This made it very difficult to clean the lenses with a microfiber cloth without picking up some glue and smearing it all over the lens. I was resigned to it at first, but was fed up with the extra effort it took to clean up the smeared adhesive. I no longer use them and have cleaned the nose of the frame to remove the residue, which took several tries. Now I can clean my lenses much more efficiently with a microfiber cloth. I gently sanded the nose of the frame with a piece of sandpaper to increase the coefficient of friction and this solved the skid problem.
