A few years ago I bought what I consider to be the original brand of this type of product. My kids use them as notepads for maths etc. I was disappointed when the batteries in another product died after about a year and I found that they were intentionally non-interchangeable. After reading a few reviews and realizing that this product has replaceable batteries (the seller even provided an extra battery), I bought two of these. Appears to be of good quality. Maybe not as strong as the plastic frame, but good enough. It would be nice to have a protective case for travel etc (not sure how they hold up if something presses the screen too hard?). We'll see how they hold up. BTW, one had magnetic stickers on the back, the other didn't. We don't use it as a fridge bulletin board, but we found it a bit odd that one either didn't have stickers on it, or maybe the other one had a return or something? Hopefully it will stand the test of time among middle school students.
