I bought these sheets because of the "cooling" effect. This was the first time I tried bamboo leaves. I immediately noticed that these sheets are very smooth and REALLY cool to the touch. I was nervous at first but quickly realized that sleeping on these sheets is very similar to sleeping in a plastic garbage bag. Cool to the touch, absolutely breathable. I woke up very hot, threw off the blanket. notice that I'm still hot and take off the sheet. Walk to the bathroom and back into bed and I'm blown away by how HOT the bed feels. This material just traps all the heat. I walked into our guest room which has 100% cotton sheets and was immediately relieved and didn't feel hot at all for the rest of the night. Very disappointed with these sheets. I will stay away from bamboo panels in the future.
