Review on 🛁 Moen YB2286ORB Brantford Collection Single Post Hand Towel Ring for Bathroom, Traditional Style in Oil-Rubbed Bronze Finish by Melody Stephens

Replaced a quality 20 year old silver Moen towel ring with this brand new bronze Moen Brantford oil towel ring. The old Moen unit worked really well and was attached to the wall with two mounting screws, a metal bracket and a hex head screw to attach the towel ring to the bracket. The new Brantford Moen towel ring looks great but uses a single mounting screw in the middle of a cheap plastic bracket. Once attached to the wall, the towel ring swings from side to side while rotating on a single mounting screw. The towel ring would not mount flush with the wall on the plastic bracket and was very difficult to remove from the wall once "installed" without leaving a large hole in the drywall. How can a simple towel ring bracket be so poorly constructed and cheap? Where are all the 5 star reviews coming from? return of the device.
