OK, I had a drain pump matrix and everything got wet and damp in the little closet it's in. closet, so I tested them out. It works, but in just 3 weeks it's pretty full. It's not a permanent solution for me, but maybe everything is tight now, the second one will last longer - hopefully. How it worked: The humidity in this closet was 73% when I put it in and 2 weeks later I checked and it dropped to 62% which is better but the space around it is significantly smaller. I still feel wet when I open this door, so I put two inside. At 62% I don't use this cabinet for anything other than a pump. Before the pump broke it was depressurized and the humidity was room temperature so I don't know what to do about it. It's the best I can do right now and I hope it evens out eventually. It might work better if you only have a hot toilet next to the bathtub, but it won't really clean a room with a sump pump. normal humidity. At least not yet. Oh, and no smell. I don't want a smell, so that's good.
