Review on RAM Zinc Coated U Bolt Mounting by Andrew Frison

The adjustable system itself is great. The U-Bolt system didn't suit me. The Space wasn't very durable and didn't work well on my handlebars. I even bought an extra U-bolt to easily switch the mount between motorcycle and quad. Both times the installation was disappointing and the place didn't stay in place. When I first installed it, I figured that if I tightened the screws enough, the bracket would stay in place. Instead of working the gasket slipped back and forth, when I finally got it attached I overtightened the bolts and the gasket broke in half! I ended up replacing the padding component with a piece I got from a professional mount and it works, but it's not what I paid for. I currently have a second mount on my bike but every time I put my phone in the mount the clip doesn't stay in place and everything moves. The part that holds the phone is great except for the frustrating shape of the base which makes installation tedious as not many tools will easily fit (I used a small wrench and turned it about 30 times). TLDR: Find a system that will hold your phone like the pictures but with a better fit than the U-Bolt. I think these guys nail it, but I haven't tried.
