I bought this adapter for one purpose - to use my existing Dell ST2210 monitor with my Dell XPS L702x laptop. I'm retired and, while not doing various business activities, I regularly use my laptop for more than 4 hours a day (mainly for genealogical research and documentation about my family, but also for movies, videos, etc.) ). PROS: - no need to install additional software/drivers - easy to use, just plug and play - great price - very fast shipping I've been using this adapter for just under a week at the moment so can't comment on its durability yet , but I have found that a number of reviews have already been published that contain good information. At this point I can tell you that I am very satisfied with my purchase.
