They are great when you fit them directly to your ears. I wish there was a passive filter that would allow me to hear outside noise as it is very isolating. The mic is decent, but it keeps ringing when he says "I can't hear you well." coming back to lower my vision because the rubber tips keep falling off and getting lost. I worry too much about her integrity and keep checking to see if I've lost her (again). I usually just buy new rubber tips and keep a few spares on hand but unfortunately Sony doesn't list these parts on their website and can be seen everywhere. That way I can treat them like the disposable items they really are. I know I will never buy this model and possibly headphones from this brand again to prevent disappointment rising.
