It's stylish! I have a section of my wall with picture frames and they all have different spacing. A few things: If your frame has a hanger wire, it will hook this tool perfectly. If you have a larger triangular suspension in the rear, that will work too. However, if all of your triangles are small like most of mine, it won't fit on the hook. You can still use it i.e. H. Just put the two pieces together and you can use it. Since I haven't had to line it up yet, it didn't bother me. The metal part on the back is sharp enough to leave a mark but not sharp enough to hurt your hands - it comes without a case or cover. I just keep it hidden. It's easy to mark and I can hold the frame and ruler with one hand and slide with the other. Love having this picture hanging tool! This makes hanging frames a lot easier and less of a hassle!
