I have stripped quite a lot of upholstery for various upgrades and repairs to my cars in the past but I never had the right tools, instead I relied on screwdrivers and metal lever latches. . The end result is broken clips, scratched panels and the like. Getting started on a new project and seeing a tutorial video of an installer using a plastic pole, I found this kit and decided it was worth a try at $15. Couldn't be happier. The instruments look good and are thick enough with a slight flex. The included tool kit is a nice bonus, especially considering the low cost. With this set I think I might really need to replace the whole carpet in the minivan.
