Review on Wi-Fi router netis WF2780, black by Amar Singh ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

As such, there are no disadvantages, it is convenient to use.

A couple of years ago, after reading laudatory reviews about its coverage area and good speed, at such an affordable price, I decided to purchase this router. After that, I connected my computer to the Internet at a speed of 200 Mbps, and I also required an adequate router. I purchased it, got it home, and it immediately setup itself; all that is left to do is name the network through the web interface and create a password for it. Using Wi-Fi, he provided me with the speed that was declared in accordance with the tariff; it was in the range of 160 to 200 Mbps, which was an ideal speed for me. The only problem is that the router's coverage is not even close to being as excellent as many people claim it is, despite the fact that it functions perfectly. I live in a two-room apartment that is fifty meters squared and is an ordinary panel house. The router is located in the room, and when you go to the kitchen, the signal sometimes becomes so weak that the Internet simply freezes sometimes (I don't know, maybe it's my old iPhone 6s that doesn't catch, but I doubt it). When I go to the room, the signal is fine, but when I go to the kitchen, the Internet freezes. The internet service provider recently satisfied a customer and increased the speed of the connection to 500 megabits per second (Mbps), which the router should peacefully keep, as indicated in its characteristics; nevertheless, the speed did not increase and remained in the same range of 160-200 Mbps. The speedtest firmly issued the 520 Mbps announced at the rate after the cable was connected directly from the router to the computer via cable. As a result, it was discovered that this router does not provide more than 210 via the Wi-Fi connection (remoteness from the computer is 1.5 meters). Other than that, an excellent router, and if you have 100–200 m/bits or less of Internet, it will function without any issues at all. If your primary computer is linked to the network via wire, then there is no possibility of the problem occurring. CS: GO is the only game that suffers from noticeable lag when played via Wi-Fi connected to this router. Ping appears to be normal, between 30 and 40, however it is physically impossible to play since packets are being lost and everything is jerky.

Pros
  • Low in cost, simple to put together, and it has two bands. In addition to a speed of up to one gigabit (for 5G, 865 mb, and for 2.4G, 300 mb), the ports themselves are one gigabit each.
Cons
  • The maximum speed that can be achieved with Wi-Fi is only 200 megabits per second (details below in the review). Quick cuts through the space between two walls.
