Nice lamp but loose gooseneck and buzzing light

This thing was a lot bigger than expected but luckily I managed to find a place for it on my desk. The lighting is of excellent quality and I like the organization of the space. I also like that the "umbrella” rotates completely around the light source. However, there are a few questions.1. I hear electrical noises when it's on. I work in a quiet room and she's practically next to me, so it's very noticeable.2. The gooseneck is not strong enough. I can get it in a decent position (though not exactly where I want it) but if I bump it at all it will slip.
