My girlfriend loves this bag. It's very useful to be able to go from a backpack to a single-strap almost-"messenger bag" style with no effort. The main flap's clasp holds tight and there's a zipper under it to access the main compartment, so that alone makes it more secure than most "backpack purses" in terms of someone stealing from you while you're wearing the bag. For added security, there's a small pocket on the inner face of the bag (the one that would be directly against your back) that is zippered shut. It's definitely not "roomy", but you should be able to fit most wallets and cell phones in it without difficulty.She's told me a few times about getting compliments on the bag, and no one expects it to be this cheap! Very good quality for the money.
