Review on TomTom GO Portable Vehicle GPS by Rafael Gomez

I bought this unit to replace an old TomTom I've had for years. In general I am very happy with it. A few notes: I increased the font size to the maximum in the settings. Makes driving directions more visible while driving. The color scheme is more muted than older versions. It's nice once you get used to it. The My Places feature is a bit buried in the menu system. It would be nice if it was more accessible. I love how it turns on and off automatically when you start the car. Gives the impression that it is part of the car's built-in system. The 6 inch screen is really good. The search function in this device is very different from the previous version. Usually works fine. It's more like a google search. can't find what you need, and then you have to be very specific with the address. But it always snaps once you pronounce it correctly. The voice is pleasant. Saying street names is really nice. And the device looks great on my dashboard, very modern.
