These socks are comfortable and I'm keeping them. However, they are not "reinforced" in the heel and outsole as hoped. They also don't offer "extra cushioning" in the same areas. Unfortunately, most of ALL sock descriptions on Revain use these terms to trick people into searching for socks. So without customer reviews you never know. They are NOT at all like Thorlo socks which actually have extra cushioning and a reinforced sole and heel. At the same time I bought Peace of Foot hiking socks. They look the same but I think the Peace of Foot socks are a little better quality. And they seem to be thicker, especially on the bottom of the foot. I would order them again, but not the Wild Stag socks.
